Would the twist of "Niles Caulder being secretely" be kept?

Or would this amalgam version stay a hero and still keep the twist, just revealing "it wasn't him, it was his evil twin sister Cassandra leaving inside his head" ...

If so,who would Cassandra Nova got amalgamed with? Red Jack? (Based on how Red Jack, in the tv show at least, once tried to recruit Niles?) Crazy Jane? (take the "alternate personality concept"?)

Alternatively, would Legion get amalgamed with Crazy Jane? One could have that amalgamed having Crazy Jane's backstory, but instead say his / he mother abused them until Xavier / Niles amalgam discovered them.

And as a twist reveal Xavier / Niles amalgamed abandoned Legion / Crazy Jane amalgam and only came to his / her rescue one he discovered he / she had powers that would be useful for the X-Patrol
