This is Garth. He is not Kaldur. Kaldur is Kaldur, Garth is Garth. Garth is Aqualad #1. Kaldur is Aqualad #2. There are many differences. Deal with it.
Kaldur isn't even Kaldur, he's a redesign of Calvin Durham. Get it, Cal Durham, Kaldur'ahm.
Really? Every day DC finds a new way to confuse me. Don't ask why.
I'd cosplay this, legit. Although I have a top knot man bun, I think I can pull it off. Favoriting for reference and will post photos when done. d(-.-)b
The true and the best
I can respect your opinion that you prefer Garth as Aqualad than Kaldur but this is a terrific fan art.
why you thinks this so terrific?
Thank you. c:
I love Garth's story and personality much better than Kaldur mostly because Kaldur has been in only 4 issues ever
I personally feel there was a lot they could've done with Kaldur if they used his actual comic version, instead of his cold emotionless self..
you could make him wearing that blue costume in Teen Titans series, are very awesome
I like Tempest Garth.
but kaldur is <3
Garth the best
Garth the Aqualad (New 52)
Omg!!!! So awesome!!! I am a big fangirl of yours and would like to make characters as awesome as you do. Which art program do you use?
hes not aqualad anymore, his names tempest. and thats the young justice version of aqualad not the legit dc version
I prefer Garth to Kaldur/Jackson at least Garth can have fun with Wally, Donna Dick and Roy. It's just Kaldur is too serious for Dick's team. Tim's team is the serious team. There's a limit of one super serious character or super silly character in each line up. Bart is Tim's goofball and Roy is Dick's super serious.
It didn't really bug me on Kaldur's personality. Most of Kaldur-ahm was based on Garth the low tempered, calm attitude almost pacifist, his affection for Tula, his bromance with Roy, It bothered me that he got replaced because he wasn't a minority Kaldur wasn't really that much of his own character in my opinion the thing though that intrigues me about him though is his connection to Black Manta. I think Geoff Johns did a great job with the character though in Brightest Day the Jackson Hyde version he was more of his own character.
Yes I felt that they copied Garth and gave him a racelift. Geoff Johns handled Jackson better.
To bad Jackson couldn't have been one of the hings the reboot didn't majorly effect.
I stopped reading when Flashpoint came out because it's a major mess up.
Don't blame you.
What really bugs me is why would you want to lessen Barry's sacrifice by reversing his death in Crisis, same with bringing Kara back shoving Linda who was more interesting out the door. That's the whole issue I have with the ending of the DC Universe Post-Crisis continuity (along with Connor Kent's very existence because of kryptonian DNA being near impossible to replicate.) it's like DC doesn't want anyone to die anymore along with other issues I have in the DCnu mostly about Alan Scott
I personally prefer Barry alive I think The Founding 7 is more iconic with Barry as the founding Flash. Wally is with Grayson and the Titans, my problem with DCnU is the lack of consistency, extended amount of time on following things up (Garth mention in RHATO#1 never again mentioned again). Missing characters, and overall I think they messed up when they didn't completely reboot the DC multiverse trying to keep things that happened in the pre-52 in the new52 it doesn't work.. Its one thing to recreate stories its another thing to pretend like a huge event like Blackest night happened in the past.
Yep, can't load up every serious character you want, then you take all the fun away!
